Tips on Managing Schedule

STEM strand may be known to many as having loads of paper work to do and a lot of complicated things to review. Almost every subject in this strand requires research papers but do not let that faze you! With proper time management and preparedness, you can accomplish many things before you realize.

As a personal advice, it is better to avoid panicking when a lot of tasks are suddenly given. Clear your mind and then once you are relaxed, try listing down the things to be accomplished, so that you can estimate and weigh each task.

It is better to know which task should be prioritized. As for me, it is much more effective to do the easier task first before proceeding to the difficult ones. That way, a lot of activities would be crossed-out in the list even in a short amount of time.

Do things on your own pace if it is an individual task. Do not put pressure yourself and do it when you think you are most ready.

Lastly, do not forget to have time for yourself. Take a break and relax your mind. Mental exhaustion keeps us from giving our best performance. Before we can give our best in those task, we must first be in the best condition of ourselves.
